Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) "Chamber Folk" is the genre tag that descibes this album most accurately, in my opinion. Folk melodies with polyphonic classical arrangements around Aidan Shepherd's accordion, with a nod to Belgian avantgarde à la Univers Zero, sometimes reminding a bit of the great Nightnoise. Shepherd demostrates that creating innovative music isn't just putting a couple of riffs in a row. It's developing an idea patiently from a stream of notes into a consistent magnum opus. Favorite track: Song for Someone.

Anita Botman This is thoughtful music and yet full of emotion. This group is bursting with good ideas and whats more important: they know how to change these into real music.
